There’s nothing you need to do and nothing to fix. As soon as your payment clears, the system automatically brings every frozen site back online together — usually within about 30 seconds. Sites no longer come back one at a time either.

What “frozen” means
When an account isn’t paid, its sites are temporarily frozen — paused and taken offline — rather than deleted. Your files, databases and settings are all kept safe; the sites simply stop serving until the account is back in good standing. Clearing the outstanding payment lifts the freeze.
What happens when you pay
The instant your payment is confirmed, the freeze is lifted automatically and all of your sites come back online at once. In most cases everything is live again within about 30 seconds.
This is a big change from how it used to work. Previously the process could take around 15 minutes, and sites came back one at a time — so it felt like it dragged on forever. That’s gone: unfreezing is now near-instant and happens to every site together.
⚠️ Paying by crypto?
The 30-second unfreeze starts once your payment is confirmed. Card and PayPal payments confirm right away, but a crypto payment has to be confirmed on the blockchain first, which can take a little longer when the network is busy. Once it’s confirmed, your sites come back just as quickly.
Still frozen after a few minutes?
It’s now rare for a site to stay frozen after you’ve paid, but if one does, a couple of quick checks usually explain it:
- Refresh your dashboard. The status updates automatically, but a page refresh makes sure you’re seeing the latest.
- Check the payment actually completed. A card can be declined, or a crypto payment may still be confirming — the freeze only lifts once the payment is confirmed on our side.
If your payment shows as confirmed and a site is still frozen after about 10 minutes, open a support ticket and we’ll get it sorted right away.
