Google does not show one set of results to everybody. Someone searching “emergency plumber” in Manchester sees a different page from someone in Leeds, and a phone often gets a different order from a laptop. A rank tracker that only reports one national number hides exactly the movements that local and mobile customers experience.

No hosting needed — really
You do not have to host a single site with us to use rank tracking. Create an account, choose “No hosting needed”, and Rank tracking is in your menu straight away. It works for any domain on the internet. If you do host with us, each tracked domain that lives on your account also gets its rankings on the site’s own control panel.

Questions people ask
Do I need a hosting plan to use rank tracking?
No. Rank tracking is sold on its own. Create an account, choose “No hosting needed”, pick a plan and start adding domains. It works for any domain, hosted with us or anywhere else.
How often are my keywords checked?
Every week on Starter, every day on Pro and Agency. A new keyword gets its first check about five minutes after you add it (a very large batch is spread over a few extra minutes), so you do not wait a week for your first numbers.
Can I track a city rather than a whole country?
Yes. Choose from more than 139,000 Google locations in 213 countries — countries, regions and individual cities — plus the interface language and desktop or mobile. Each combination is tracked separately.
Does a keyword tracked on desktop and mobile count twice?
Yes. Each version of Google is its own group with its own keywords, so the same keyword on desktop and on mobile uses two of your keywords. It is the only honest way to report two different results pages.
Can I track competitors or client domains?
Yes. You can add any domain — there is no check that you own it. Agencies usually put every client on one account.
What happens if I need more keywords?
Add packs of 50 extra keywords for $4 a month each, or move to a bigger plan. Your history is kept either way.
How do I pay?
With PayPal (which also accepts debit and credit cards) or with crypto, for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months at a time. Prices are in US dollars; VAT is added only where the law requires it.
Why might my position differ from what I see when I search?
Your own searches are personalised by your location, history and signed-in account. We check a clean results page for the exact location, language and device you chose, which is what a new visitor there sees.
